PG - M.Tech Experience Required : 2 - 7 Year(s) Job Location : Chennai Walkin Date : 04 February 2012 - 05 February 2012 Walkin Time : 09:00 a.m - 03:00 p.m Job Description : The positions with the detailed job requirements are mentioned below: MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Pipe Stress Engineers (Job Code - PSE): B.Tech./M.Tech. with 2 to 5 years' experience in power plant pipe stress analysis, with good knowledge on piping standards ASME B31.1/31.3 and proficient in analysis tools like CAESER II or PIPESTRESS or any equivalent tool. Responsibilities include review of isometrics, design, validation and documentation of pipes, pipe supports and selection of pipe supports. Stress Analysis/Optimization Engineers (Job Code - SAE): B.Tech./M.Tech. with 3 to 8 years’ experience in Finite Element Modeling and stress analysis using ANSYS, NASTRAN and Hypermesh; optimization experience using Isight FD and SEE. CIVIL ENGINEERS Civil Structural Engineers (Job Code - CSE): B.Tech./ M.Tech. (Civil/Structures) with 2 to 5 years' experience in design of steel structures in power plants/process plants. Knowledge in ACI and AISC or EN standards is essential. Responsibilities include checking structural integrity using manual calculations and also using ANSYS/STAAD PRO/GTSTRUDL tools, performing global and local structural evaluations and sizing of members. Working knowledge of 3D modelling is desirable. INSTRUMENTATION & CONTROL ENGINEERS Turbine Control Engineers (Job Code - TCE): B.Tech./ M.Tech. with 3 to 5 years' experience on application engineering of hardware and software for turbine control systems. Should be familiar with controls/protection and instrumentation of turbines. Performance Monitoring System Engineers (Job Code - PMSE): B.Tech./M.Tech. with 3 to 5 years’ hands on experience in configuration/programming of performance calculation package as part of DCS system supplied for thermal/nuclear power plants. Familiarity with various modules like unit/turbine heat rate, boiler/economizer performance module alongwith exposure to development of communication interface driver for third party system will be preferred. Safety System Engineers (Job Code - SSE): B.Tech./ M.Tech. with 3 to 5 years' hands on experience in I&C design and engineering of safety/emergency shutdown systems. Familiarity with hazard/risk assessment SIL analysis, safety requirement specification, SIL verification. Candidates having exposure in common Q safety system using AC160 (ABB) platform will be preferred.
